With this deal 9 months in the making, on February 22, 2016 845 R8DIO and the turntable titan [DJ Vybe] finally reached a deal for the “Hot Vybe” to come back to 845 R8DIO. And although exact worth and terms aren’t being released due to confidentiality reasons, we wanna help keep the gossip column hype on the right track by telling it’s in the 5-figure range. For those that don’t remember, DJ Vybe ended his syndicated show the “Hot Vybe” or the “Hot Vybe on 845” as it was called, back in July 2015. At the time, 845(R8DIO) and DJ Vybe couldn’t reach an agreeable deal, and Vybe had some other concerns that were well aired and optimistically worked out.
The “Hot Vybe on 845” with DJ Vybe is set for the big comeback Monday thru Friday from 5pm-7pm, with an extended Hot Vybe kick-off session starting Monday April 4, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm. But now 845 R8DIO listeners and DJ Vybe fans can tune-in to the show and the station anywhere with the free KryKey App for Android or iToys in great quality, as well as 845R8DIO.com.
